These screws have been specifically developed to ensure installation with a drill is simple and hassle free. With no pilot holes required and no damage caused to wood, MDF and chipboard surfaces, the screws provide superior cutting and a superior finish.
The Proscrew range has been designed for you to drill screws into timber quickly, easily and resulting in a secure fix. Each screw has been designed using a patented Quattro Thread Shank - a square thread chisel action, which cuts quickly and holds strong into timber surfaces. The Profpoint® Cutting tip removes the need for pilot holes, increases drive speed and reduces the risk of timber splitting as well as user fatigue.
Designed with a TX Drive Recess head the screw has six points of contact to ensure more torque and less effort. The countersunk ribbed head of every screw, aids driving with no surface damage, resulting in a high standard of finish every time.
The new Eurocodes have replaced current British Standards and include Service Classes, which recommend the suitability of a fixing's coating, material and corrosion resistance to the environment.
In addition, Paslode Proscrews benefit from a new Climate G3 coating - a zinc and iron based surface treatment. The Climate G3 coating is independently tested and proven to offer excellent resistance to corrosion of more than 2000 hours of neutral salt spray.
